Vote no on payday loan cap

On Wednesday, the New Hampshire House will vote on House Bill 267, which would cap interest rates on short-term title and payday loans. While this might sound like a noble idea, the consequences will be grave for those in New Hampshire who use these services. I work at New England Auto and Payday Loans' Manchester store. If this bill passes, there is a good chance that we will have to close our doors. This would leave our employees without jobs and our customers with nowhere to turn for help. I urge the Legislature to think about the whole picture and vote against this bill.
